Established in 2011, Sandy started cooking in her own kitchen at home serving only six customers per day. As she rapidly gained an excellent reputation for quality food, this number was soon to increase. Expansion of the business followed and domestic premises were sought in their village of Holton. Daughter Lisa joined the business in 2013 and a successful partnership was formed. In October 2019 due to increased customer demand, a second premises was sourced in the delightfull village of Earsham near Bungay.  This has been transformed into a fully functional commercial kitchen. Today The Hot Meal Service serves up to 90 meals a morning from their two branches.
